Member Monday: Jay Brubaker

Jay Brubaker, of Lancaster, is an amazingly skilled furniture-maker.  We’ve had the joy of getting to know Jay over the last year.

1. He became a juried member in March.
2. Exhibited at our craft show in July.
3. Then entered a gorgeous chair in ‘from Raw to Refined‘ at the Reading Public Museum through October 31.
4. He and David Lunin were our first Juried Member Showcase in our gallery on October 17 & 18.
5. We included his furniture in both our In the Kitchen and Handmade Holiday stores (his curly maple, corner cupboard is currently available in the gallery).

I’m featuring Jay because his involvement with the Guild not only shows what a member can get from the Guild if they become active.  But also the quality the Guild gets from its members.  Thanks Jay.  Looking forwarded to work with you more next year.
